Our attorneys have also been at the center of Multipoint Distribution Service (MDS) and Instructional Television Fixed Service (ITFS) activity almost since their inception. We have represented incumbent legacy licensees, BTA auction winners, and new entrants to this industry as it has evolved from a limited subscription video service to a multi-faceted data distribution network with potential for mobile as well as fixed use. In addition to licensing and regulatory compliance, our attorneys negotiate contracts, and address disputes, between ITFS licensees and their lessees as well as contracts between MDS licensees and their customers.
