He has represented telecommunications companies since entering the legal field in 1992. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Quianzon was an accountant during the 1980s. He currently is a licensed CPA in MD and certificated in IL and VA.

Immediately prior to joining Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, Mr. Quianzon was affiliated with another Washington, D.C. law firm where his concentration was in telecommunications common carrier financial and business matters. Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Quianzon worked in an accounting firm in the Washington, D.C. area, with a focus on business formation and operational matters as well as estate and trust administration.Mr. Quianzon has worked extensively with wireless carriers, local exchange carriers, interexchange carriers and other telecommunications companies. Since the introduction of frequency auctioning, he has continuously assisted clients participating in FCC auctions. During the life cycle of a federal auction, Mr. Quianzon assists clients with the initial development of their legal structure, financial qualifications and applications. Mr. Quianzon also guides clients through the auction bidding and strategy process and, for successful bidders, with the issuance of their federal license.
Immediately following the passage of the 1992 Cable Act, Mr. Quianzon assisted cable operators nationwide with analysis of their financial status to ensure compliance with key provisions of that Act. Mr. Quianzon also has worked closely with cable and multipoint distribution system operators, representing their interests before the FCC and the U.S. Copyright Office. Mr. Quianzon has been able to complement his telecommunications knowledge with his business experience as well as estate and trust portfolio. As an attorney in the firm's personal and business legal practice group, Mr. Quianzon offers our clients access to business and corporate legal services as well as estate and wealth transfer strategies.
Mr. Quianzon graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The American University in Washington, D.C. He later attended the University of Maryland and undertook studies in accountancy and currently is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Maryland. In addition, Mr. Quianzon is a C.P.A. in Illinois and Virginia. Mr. Quianzon obtained his law degree from The Washington College of Law at The American University. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, federal Courts of Appeal in the District of Columbia, Federal and Fourth Circuits, numerous other federal district and bankruptcy courts, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Tax Court.
