    Davina Sashkin specializes in broadcast media regulation and compliance, broadband technology development and regulation, and media transactional work . Prior to joining the firm in January 2008. Ms. Sashkin was an associate with the law firm Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald, P.C. Ms. Sashkin is a graduate of the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where she earned a certificate in Communications Law Studies. Prior to law school, Ms. Sashkin worked in the field of corporate communications. She also holds a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.

    While in law school, Ms. Sashkin served as Editor-in-Chief of the Commlaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law & Policy, was an officer of the Communications Law Students Association, and organized a symposium co-sponsored by the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA). As a law student, Ms. Sashkin interned at the FCC and NTIA, and was a law clerk for Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald. She is the author of Failure of Imagination: Why Inaction on Net Neutrality Regulation Will Result in a De Facto Legal Regime Promoting Discrimination and Consumer Harm, Commlaw Conspectus (2007).

    Ms. Sashkin is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and she is an active member of the FCBA, for which she serves on the Charity Auction Committee and is co-chair of the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition Committee. Ms. Sashkin is also an officer of the Communications Law Institute Alumni Association at Catholic University.
