Alan C. Campbell joined Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC as Of Counsel on January 1, 2008. Prior to joining the firm, He was a named partner for the firm of Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald. He handles regulatory and transactional matters for radio and television broadcast, cable television, and telecommunications companies, including FCC licensing, the purchase, sale and financing of television, radio and cable properties, changes in station facilities involving engineering and technical requirements and participation in FCC rule makings.

Mr. Campbell is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and Georgetown University Law Center. He served as law clerk to two federal district court judges. Mr. Campbell has been active in bar association programs, served as President in 1993-1994 of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) and was Chair in 1998-1999 of the FCBA Foundation. He received the FCBA's Distinguished Service Award in 1999. The FCBA is a national voluntary bar association with more than 3,000 members and is extremely active in all facets of telecommunications regulation and technology.
