Seth Williams joined Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth in November 2018 after four years at another boutique telecommunications firm where he advised clients on a wide range of issues, including federal, state, and international telecommunications licensing requirements; mergers, acquisitions, and transfers of control; state telecommunications taxes; federal and state regulatory fees; CALEA compliance; and FCC enforcement proceedings.
Seth is also an experienced TCPA lawyer, representing calling platforms, ringless voicemail services, and other cutting edge communications providers. He helps clients evaluate their TCPA risk and implement best practices to mitigate that risk, and he defends clients involved in TCPA litigation.
Seth graduated from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University – Bloomington and holds a B.A. degree from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law’s telecommunications law LL.M. program, where he clerked for then Acting FCC Chairwoman Mignon Clyburn. Seth is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Indiana and is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.
