Matthew H. McCormick has joined Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC, as a Member. He has practiced communications law for more than 28 years. He is coming from the law firm of Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald, P.C., where he was a partner. Previously, he was a named partner in the firm of Reddy, Begley & McCormick, LLP. He was admitted to the bar in both the District of Columbia and Oregon in 1979.

In addition to belonging to the District of Columbia Bar and the Oregon State Bar, Matt is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Oregon’s State Bar’s House of Delegates.

Prior to entering the law, Matt worked as a broadcast journalist, including a stint as news director of an ABS affiliate in Eugene, Oregon. Matt, with members of his family, in the past has owned five radio stations in the Pacific Northwest.
