Davina Sashkin joined the firm in January 2008. She previously was an associate with the law firm Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald, P.C. Prior to law school, Ms. Sashkin worked in the field of corporate communications. Ms. Sashkin is a graduate of the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where she also earned a certificate in Communications Law Studies. She also holds a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.

 

While in law school, Ms. Sashkin served as Editor-in-Chief of the Commlaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law & Policy, was an officer of the Communications Law Students Association, and organized a symposium co-sponsored by the Federal Communications Bar Association. As a law student, Ms. Sashkin interned at the FCC and NTIA, and worked as a law clerk for Irwin, Campbell & Tannenwald. She is the author of Failure of Imagination: Why Inaction on Net Neutrality Regulation Will Result in a De Facto Legal Regime Promoting Discrimination and Consumer Harm (http://commlaw.cua.edu/articles/v15/sashkin.pdf).

 

Ms. Sashkin is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and she is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
