International Telecommunications

We have assisted the U.S. State Department and the FCC in preparing and promoting U.S. positions at proceedings of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), including numerous World Radio Conferences (WRCs). In the State Department-organized advisory committee meetings preceding WRCs, our attorneys have assisted in developing many of the U.S. positions to be presented in Geneva.

We provide the background and contacts needed to assist clients in obtaining authorizations and negotiating agreements necessary to provide trans-border and international satellite and terrestrial services. In addition, the firm is able to assess the significance of telecommunications and broadcast developments worldwide, particularly in Japan and the Pacific Rim, Latin America, the Middle East, and the European economy.
